While she has been gone, I have created a pile of brush:
The dog has taken command of my chair where she can guard the front of the house....
The other night something weird happened - at 15 minutes before 4 AM Jill dog started barking and would not stop.... I got up and went downstairs and discovered that my next door neighbor was investigating his side porch with a flashlight.... His dogs were barking and my dog was barking.... I don't know what he was looking for or if he found it.... but I was wide awake and could not go back to sleep.... I waited a little and let Jill out so that she could get her barking out of her system.... Then we watched the sunrise together.... weird ugh???
Any way, hope you are all having a good day, I am.......
Remember to take good care of yourself so that you can take good care on another and to pray for Matthew.....
Cheers, john

well, I'm glad you were able to keep yourself busy.
yep!!!
Oh, forgot to mention, so glad Jill dog is protecting you!!
me too!!!
You created a pile of brush. The wind caused me, with a great deal of help from my son John and a neighbor, to pile up a lot of tree debris. The results look the same. So much for cursory glances at empirical data. Have you noticed yet that I usually make comments that are completely or tangentially off the subject?
Hi John,
Wow, you have been busy! Did you check with your neighbor about the 4am adventure?
I have a 64oz bottle of Blackstone porter, you will have to stop by and help me drink it!
Dennis
No cruise for you? I guess somebody needs to hold down the fort and it looks like you and Jill did just that.
Enjoyed our visit with Dennis and Marie! They just left for JC and I see that he wrote about bringing the Blackstone Porter for you all to enjoy. It is really, really, good!
We will continue to pray for Matt. Bless you for keeping him close to your heart and praying for him.
John..I wished Dennis could have brought you a jug of the bitter we tasted at the Coppersmith restaurant, it's the best I have tasted, except for HSB of course.
We'll be glad when Sandy and Dennis and Marie are back at Cherokee (along with Sharon and Gloria and others). Things have seemed a little off balance without them.
Glad you and Jill have made it okay, with only a handful of interesting adventures.
Let's hear it for men who keep the home fires burning! What would we globe trotting women do without them?
house work!!!
Does Jill like her new home?
